The need to preempt Iran and export gas to Egypt was the reason the government gave to push through its controversial plan for Israel's natural gas. Now, this reason may no longer exist.03:48 31.08.15 | 1 comments
1st of all, dugree, most ultra-orthodox are basically unfit for military service. Pushing them on our forces would weaken the army. 2nd IF the government & army REALLY want these guys to serve they MUST see to making it possible for them to do so without injuring their religious level. "On the book" it's forbidden to do so BUT in reality many officers do everything to attack the religious rights & freedom spiritual status of the fine ones who do enlist. They force them to do things against their religious rules with no true reason to do so other than hatefulness. I've seen this. It's outrageous. It causes many good able young orthodox & ultra-orthodox men from enlisting. I've served with some orthodox/ultra-orthodox who enlisted willingly. They are some of our country's finest men, honest, polite, dedicated' clean. The interference with their religious needs is an in-gratuitous crime. ON TOP OF THAT why is it that none of these big mouth politicians do absolutely ZERO about the tens of thousands of secular Israelis who dodge the draft for personal laziness or not caring two hoots about the state???? What is this hypocrisy?
