    Israel can't talk to an enemy that refuses to acknowledge it's existence...This same enemy, Hamas, clearly states that it's goal is to destroy Israel...The goal is clearly stated in their charter and reiterated time and again by their leadership...If you wish, "upon request", I'll send you links to numerous videos, where their spokesmen have declared their intent to destroy Israel.. The last "Cease Fire" (LOL) wasn't...Kassam's kept on being fired, homicide bombers continued to try attacking, sometimes getting through... Each time an event of some sort took place, Hamas attributed it to breakaway factions over which they had no control...Imagine, the controlled the area and couldn't control dissidents...Hardly plausible...Each of the incidents were done either by Hamas or with their complicity...
