Mr Liberman you bring down the government Livni will give you all you want? There is virtually no chance you will even be invited into the coalition then you will have no voice anyway. Livni has rejected calls to join a unity government three times now and twice she rejected because Bibi refused to oust you which she was insisting on. In coalition government we don't always get what we want and thats a price you may just have to pay. Barak quitting Labor has given Bibi the stability to go on for another two years providing you don't rock the boat like this. If the government survives another two years whilst you might not get the IDF conversion bill I am sure there are many other pieces of legislation you will get passed. Quit and its all over so then what will you have gained? Better to stop holding a tantrum the way Abbas does when he doesn't get it all his own way sit down, think, compromise and you will get something rather than Livni and nothing.

Why we don't know how to pick our leaders

Our craving for ideology means that we are partial to ideological leaders. But we need leaders who will make smart decisions that are aligned with the public interest.
