State says nobody has a right to sell the drafts on the open market for a profit, as this infringes on the state's right to keep an asset 'of deep symbolic significance' that belongs to the state and the public.01:40 27.11.15 | 0 comments
The author is underestimating the intelligence of Israeli voters and the ability of democracies to make the right decision. Democracies are slow to recognize and respond to external threats. But respond they do and very well too. Sharon came to the office because Israelis finaly recognized the threat facing them. Similarly Kadima's strength is in fact reflective of the Israeli public's aspirations and not just Sharon's presence. Kadima and the path it represents is likely to win even if Sharon passed away today.
