Just because he cancels a trip does not make him anti-Semitic. Opposing trends in Israel does not make a person anti-Semitic. Even if one had a seething hatred of Israel, that would not mean they're anti-Semitic. Anti-Semitism is hating Jewish people simply because they're Jewish. I've never seen nor heard a thing from Mr. Hawkings to make me think that is in any way, shape, or form the case. One of the surest ways to create anti-Semitism, though, is to falsely accuse people of it. Now, I don't think the good professor here is likely to fall to such a thing, but to accuse someone of being anti-Semitic because they cancel a trip is rather severe.
