I liked Yossi's article on the 10th about the Bush Administration's take on the situation in Israel/Palestine. He covered the points well and noted that Bush is incapable, unwilling, or both, to deal with a complex issue for a prolonged period of time. With no Special Envoy being pressed from the start of his first term through until now, his commitment has been non-existant. For now, Yossi seems to be right on one thing, with the political upheaval in Washington & London, mixed with confusion and consolodation in Brussels, the best chance Israel and Palestine have of achieving any measure of peace/stability lies with themselves.
