The tunnel is at a depth of 26-28 meters, and the IDF still doesn't know its channel, except for the fact that it starts in Gaza and ends in the southern part of the Gaza border region on the Israeli side.13:14 05.05.16 | 0 comments
Actually most Americans support an evenhanded approach to the Israeli/Palestinian problem, according to Jonathan Rynhold whose article downplaying the influence of the Israel lobby was recommended by columnist Rosner as an antidote to the Mearsheimer Walt article. Indeed this includes large numbers of Jews and a majority of evangelical Christians according to Mr. Rynhold. This would seem to be supported by the fact that in our local paper, Olmert's speech to Congress that elicited either 38 or 41 rounds of applause was reported in a few paragraphs in an inside column of national digests. So, at least in the hinterlands, the true situation is that most people don't care much about Israel, one way or the other. So don't blame my fellow Americans for being a strategic liability. Blame our craven politicians and the few Israel-firsters who are pulling their strings.
