The UN forbids the rearmament of Hezbollah. Period. If Lebanon claims it has a right to the weapons, let it say so - But it denies any knowledge of this shipment. Even if the arms were surreptitiously loaded in Egypt (not yet proven) it strains credulity to think that Egypt would violate an embargo of Hezbollah when the Egyptian regime hates Hezbollah. Hates them, esp. since they uncovered the Hezbollah cell in Egypt. If the arms trade to Lebanon/Hezbollah is so justified, why is everyone denying any involvement??? I love the Syrian FM's denials, too. He reminds me of Baghdad Bob - Saddam's propangandist who comically broadcast that there were no US forces within 100 miles of Baghdad even as troops seized the airport and entered the city.
