Likewise, Eldar's claim that Israel never responded is likewise false. In 2002, Israel offered to meet and negotiate the details of the proposal and was flatly refused. Likewise, the Arab League has refused every effort to offer specifics about what sort of compromise on the "right of return" would be acceptable. In other words, the Arab world again endorses the "two state solution" as long as both states created are Arab.
