I am shocked by Mr Grossman's Zionist stance. No mention of Israel's moral or political responsibility for the forced displacement of the majority of the Palestinian population in 1948, just an orgasmic reaction to Abbas's sycophantic personal renunciation of his right of return. And then "the last chance to launch a process which might extricate Israel from the decline and error in which it has been trapped for a generation". A generation?? Hello, Mr Grossman, you mean since the country's racist, elitist inception, don't you? This moral blindness, even in the country's most gifted writers, will be the country's undoing. Don't you realise the decades of injustice? The fact that under every Israeli town and city are the ghosts of Palestinian communities, denied justice? Dear Mr Grossman, if you can't acknowledge/recognise this, what hope is there for Mr Netanyahu?
