Your choice as a US citizen is an illusion of choice. It's a duopoly, which says that 315 million people must fit into one of two boxes. Please check box A for Democrat / "Leftist" if you believe in global warming, evolution, separation of church and state, women's right to choose (abortion), gay rights, tax the wealthy, etc... Please check box B for Republican / "Right Wing" if you do not believe everything the Democrat believes. That's your "choice"! So if you believe strongly in some things of one party, but also some things of the other, you have to compromise your morals and or your beliefs to cast a vote. Americans love to criticize other nations for their "lack of democracy" like Venezuela (81% voter participation rate), meanwhile the US is usually around 44%. Americans are so diluted and self absorbed that they can't help but keep drinking the koolaid to keep from waking up with a hangover.
