Interesting to see who is in "uproar" or "aghast"; and which media report the doctors strike as "illegitimate" or some other derivation thereof. Why? Because striking is a socialist manuever - Israel is a SocialDemocrat country (its secular part anyway - the religious part is facsist) so from a Libertarian's standpoint it tickles me to no end to have a socialist government attacked by a socialist maneuver - and to see the repsonse socialist media have to it. Fight on, good buddies, it makes for great bedtime reading!

How the bagel went from shtetls to haute cuisine

A visit to the world's bagel capital is a chance to marvel at how this unassuming Jewish-Ashkenazi food has come from its 17th-century beginnings.
