Israel's worries keep it form making reasonable concessions which in turn give Iran more of a pretext to gain influence. Iran is now going to have a northern front with Israel from Syria and Lebanon. At the same time, though unrelated but certainly with consequences, the Moscow airport bombing with trigger brutal reprisals by Russian forces which in turn will open up th enorthern caucasus region to Iranian influence. Iran is using the Hezbollah-hamas model to spread its influence over the entire region with hegemony as its goal The only thing that can frustrate its plans is Israel being brave enough to solve the Palestinian problem in a way thats fair and aceptable to the Arabs. Survival is at stake.. When the Islamists topple Mubarak, do you want Egypt to be a hostile neighbor again at your south? Remove the Palestinian "excuse" once and for all.. Oh and by the way it also happens to be the right and moral thing to do!
