is it shrewd or foolish to trust the ones who vow to destroy you, just because they say "trust me"? is it shrewd or foolish to not agree to something that may be turned against you to your harm without protecting your own interests first and foremost? this is not a matter of who gets what land, but rather one side calling for the complete destruction of the other, one way or another. there needs to be a little more goodwill heard AND shown before letting our guard down. we'll respond positively to some more positive gestures, that is for sure. we're waiting.
