The settlers poison water sources, burn or poison fertile fields, and deliberately destroy the very icons of the region, mentioned so many places on both Bibles-- the sacred olive groves. No other population ever stooped so low as to destroy the sacred, centuries-old emblems of the land. The Europeans planted non-indigenous fir trees all over the Carmel Mountains-- killing some Jews, when they easily flamed. The settlement architecture looks like prison blocks defacing the ancient mountain ranges. Now, the IDF buries several thousand endangered and protected bats ALIVE, so that the rare colonies slowly smothered to death. Head up! The ME is not like Europe. It's a whole different ecology. Try to get your heads around that simple fact. Another thing. Do IDF troops have ANY supervision, at all? Any officers who are worth the rank?
