'I am ashamed that I saw injustice and never did anything about it,' Reinhold Hanning tells German courtroom.01:17 30.04.16 | 1 comments
Just the other day Netanyahu stated that Iran is beginning to hobble under Western economic sanctions. On its face, this suggests that he will rush to strike Iran and give sanctions more time to work. So why are the Americans (and Israeli analysts) so hysterical about Israeli attack? There are two possibilities here: 1. General Dempsey's visit was arranged before Netanyahu spoke, and the visit is no longer considered important but will not be cancelled. 2. The Americans consider Netanyahu a hopeless liar, and suspect that he voiced his opinion on sanctions just to let everybody cool down while Israel preparing the attack. My own opinion is option 1. Netanyahu is indeed a tremendous liar, but sometimes he tells the truth, and this is one of these times. I find it hard to believe that a political coward like Netanyahu will take the risk of attack before the next Israeli elections. After the elections, expected in about a year, he may attack.
