I think every Israeli soldier (and perhaps even every citizen) should have the option to sign a Do Not Rescue option, where if they are captured, they declare that the Israeli gov't should not negotiate for his/her release. I for one would sign it in a heartbeat. I'm glad Shalit will be coming back but I'd like to know how he feels about the trade. For the record, if I'm ever kidnapped by terrorists, you have my permission to refuse to negotiate for my release. I'd rather you blew the terrorists who took me to hell than negotiate for my release.
