I wish Natasha would seek transparency from the tax-exempt funders in the U.S. of the settlement enterprise that she claims J Street lacks . Over the past 8 years, more than 170 tax-exempt organizations have raised at least $225 million. The full amount is unknown because most of the organizations refuse to identify their donors, hide their recipients, file incomplete, deceptive, and misleading annual reports, and launder funds through suspicious front organizations. But at the root, these funders are undermining their government's policy of opposition to the settlements while subverting their government's goal of resolving the Israeli-Palestinian conflict on the basis of a two-state solution.
