There is probably nothing more sacred to the Australian people than to honor our soldiers efforts. The annual pilgrimage to Gallipoli for ANZAC Day, for example. It would appear that the writer doesn't understand and has disrespected that sacrifice - and given Israel has few friends in Australia, is not helping. Such memorials are not about your country's culture, or supporting Israel... they are about our country's culture: we honor our fallen, and those they fought against, wherever they fell. Lest we forget.
