Several issues stand in the way of an agreement, including Turkish demands of unfettered access to the Gaza Strip, and Hamas activity in Turkey.17:16 11.02.16 | 0 comments
Because this worked so well in Iran... Until the mashiach comes, and all Jewish factions come together voluntarily, there cannot be a halakhic state. Such a state must only be the result of Jewish consensus, in the scenario that all Jews voluntarily rededicate themselves to the covenant and choose to live within the embrace of the halakhah. This will not happen until mashiach, and certainly will not happen so long as halakhah is monopolized by the ultra-religious camp. People cannot be coerced into following halakhah, and to suggest otherwise is a horrible perversion. This is an incredibly dangerous idea, and must be openly opposed by both religious and secular Jews alike.
