I was at the Wall today with my wife and it is a not a focus of dispute. There is one side who wants to live and let live and the other that is disgustingly violent and abusive. They insult the police and physically assault innocent citizens and guests. I spoke to reporters from the Christian Science Monitor who will do an article on what they saw. I tried to tell them these illiterate primitive self anointed holy people in black do not represent Judaism or the Jewish people but it was awfully hard to convince the reported when I cannot even convince myself. These Haredim are not my brothers and I do not want their "ahavat" yisrael. I denounce them as my people. I demand of my government in a purportedly democratic country to arrest anyone who interferes with my peaceful exercise of what every other normal democracy understands is a basic human right, Freedom of Religion and Freedom from Religion.
