Vanunu was no hero, he was just a disgruntled employee who decided it would be fun to sell his story to the foreign press and he BROKE THE LAW by taking these pictures and giving them to the media and as a result he was kidnapped by Mossad, brought back to Israel to stand trial and was punished. Anat Kam just like Vanunu she BROKE THE LAW and now she is being punished for it. Laws are there to apply to everybody equally and just because you think somebody who broke the law is a hero that doesn't mean they shouldn't be punished. If we didn't do things that way we would have mob rule where if people are punished or not depends on their political beliefs and if they have enough supporters. If this was the US both Vanunu and Kam would have spent the rest of their lives in jail. Private Bradley Manning stole thousands of army documents and gave them to Wilkileaks if convicted he may spend the rest of his life in jail, now try compare to Anat kam and her pathetic 4.5 years.
