Absolutely right. The author mentions myths of his peerless erudition. I don't know of any Torah scholar who will deny that Reb elyashiv was a peerless scholar. It's only shameless political opposition that could lead someone to deny this. Disgraceful. Say what you want if you dint agree with his opinions. But to saying left an empty legacy is ignorant at best. On what basis does he claim that Rav Elyashiv, who he himself mentions served as a Dayan on the Israeli rabbinate, was not a prolific scholar?
