Yes, but other European airlines are less invasive and just as safe, which is why I will fly with them. The last time (and it will be the last time) I flew El Al, with three small children, I had to have someone accompany me until I boarded simply because I am married to a Bedouin doctor. Even she admitted it was ridiculous. At the very least Arabs and anyone else concerned about protesting discrimination must boycott El Al, whose service anyone is no where near the level of many European airlines.
