Angry journalists, who initially boycotted the session, describe subcommittee's claims to be part of a 'witch hunt,' and slam Israel's 'authoritarian' efforts to clamp down on the media.14:27 09.02.16 | 2 comments
I don't see any factual relativism in presenting the view of Arab Palestinians. There have been historical researches ad nauseum on this topic. It is clear that in some cases, Jewish Palestinians evicted Arab Palestinians from Arab villages. (Sometimes in the direction of Arab areas and sometimes in the direction of Jewish controlled land.) It is also clear that in a number of places Arab Palestinians left there villages without prompting by Jewish Palestinians. It is equally clear that any Jewish town or farming community that was taken by Arab Palestinians was subject to either genocide or ethnic cleansing. The fact is that the so-called Nakba is not a remorse over lost property, it is the mourning over not having rid the area of Jewish Palestinians.
