Look at the list of Directors of 'J' Street. An awful lot of inactive rabbis; many very elderly and others, active like that in Pasadena, under great pressure from goyem to conform. Others are former State Department and diplomatic corps people. A few are Nobel Prize winners, but in the hard sciences, none in the humanities - a lot of Edward Teller aparichik/technocrate types. This is very telling ans suggests 'J' Street is an 'inside job' to divide the Jewish Community. USA did this same sort of thing in Italy to keep the communists out of power. We're doing it inside Iran. Its sort of a 'Tea Party' for elderly and blind Jewish liberals and second tier retired alta kacha rabbis. It has way more publicity than it warrents, and that makes me wonder who's behind it. Certainly their Board of Directors is anything but distinguished when it comes to Torah scholarship.
