Israel has no one to blame but itself ( unless you want to narrow it down to Bibi and his cronies) for the rest of the world's supporting the UN Bid. If ot could get away with domestic heat I'm sure the US would also. How else can you try to give some support to Abbas and the dream of a 2 state solution. Bibi is hell bent on marginalizing and humiliating Abbas and the PA and proving to the Pals that violence is the only way to get - hence the recent war and Shalit deal. What has the PA gotten for all its attempts to play fair - bubbkas. The right and Hamas need each other like a disfunctional couple. Terribly sad to see the Israeli public buy in though. Frankly i'm sad to say that they will probably get what they are asking for - endless war and an impossible 1 state solution.
