Yael Patir, Israel director of the left-leaning U.S. Jewish body, sat down with Haaretz to talk about Trump, the gap between U.S. and Israeli Jews, and the growing anger at the Israeli peace camp. Though she concedes boycott efforts by some on the left have a negative effect, she rejects calls to keep peace efforts local.01:12 01.05.16 | 2 comments
All countries deal with any other country, through diplomats. The diplomat here, had a second agenda. She was not supportive of her country, not to the country she was assigned. She was acting on her own, and by pushing a man, she knew she pushed the limits. He could not push her back, since the "violence" would then be caused by him. Israel always tries to take the moral high ground. They did it here, and the French now have egg on their faces.
