Dino, your thoughts are insightful. But I'd like to add a few things. Your name makes me think that you might be of Bosniak origin, like myself. I am also a son of Bosniaks in Turkey. I won't comment on Jews's views on Islam. But, one must not confuse Islam and political Islam. Political Islam is illness, just like the church of dark ages. Problem is not with Islam, the problem is with hostile and hateful followers of political Islam. Turkey is not turning towards Islam, Turkey has already always been a secular country with majority of its people being Muslim. But now Turkey is turning towards radical Islam. Those radical Muslims are trying to make everyone think and believe like the way they do. In their mind, I am supposed to hate all Serbians and Croats as I am a Bosniak Muslim. I refuse this maniac radicalism. I refuse their way of Islam. They can't and they mustn't talk or decide in the name of all Muslims. Fascism is fascism, it doesn't make it nicer when it has some Islamic elements. Regards to you Dino.
