If you are genuine in your crusade to stop a Cast Lead II taking place, then I feel that your protestations are misplaced. First, we do not occupy Gaza anymore, though you may believe otherwise. Two, the seige is not there for the fun of it, it is one of the many attempts to force the hand of Hamas. At this time, Hamas holds Gilad Shalit. I hope you agree with that. They do not allow the Red Cross in to see him, and their negotiations are heavy handed. Hamas also is behind the rocketing of Israeli communities in the south. I suggest that if you are truly sincere then you would protest the rockets and the "War Crime" of holding an Israeli soldier. If this means nothing to you, then so be it, but Cast Lead I only came after eight years and eight thousand rockets, most of them after we had pulled out of the strip. Protest Now! Rather than sobbing at the coming of a new war. We all want peace, but I do not put all the blame on Israel, as you do.

Palestinian workers stand under a shelter

You love Israel and hate occupation. What do you do?

There's a certain freedom in a time of extremism and obsession and chaos. Freedom to chart a new course. Freedom to love Israel. Freedom to help undo what it's done in your name.

How Isaiah gave Hebrew its word for vagina

If St Jerome and other experts are right, Israelis may have thought that 'pot' meant vulva, but actually they were saying cup. Or forehead. Or maybe something else.
