No amount of convenient revisionism will change the fact that Israel's existence after 1948( when it was invaded by 5 Arab countries with the sole intent of destroying it) was maintained by it's technological development and training in cutting-edge weaponry. In the absence of the fundamental change in Arab street mentality in Paleostine or in Cairo, Damascus, Amman or Shiite Beirut, the only thing that insures Israel's survival is military might, unfortunately. Despite the convenient slogans displayed here by the Polyannaesque cheerleaders of Israel's enemies, who curiously ignore the fundamental toxic Jew hatred of the Muslim Brothers that guides the hearts and minds of those enemies, the facts of that history cannot be changed. Perhaps they should solicit the views of the Christian minorities in these lands in order to determine the likely future scenarios?
