Livni is neither a good politician, nor a leader. Nevertheless, she is a principled person, and refused to join the Netanyahu coalition when he refused to mention the formula "two states for two peoples" (which he later accepted). Kadima now has a chance to become the ruling party after the next elections. My advice: replace Livni by Mofaz before the elections. He will be able to "steal" even more votes from Likud, and is a better leader (although lacking in the "principles" department).
