Dershowitz with his over-the- top distortions, misrepresentations and ranting has created a great firestorm over a non issue and given BDS its best free publicity ever. Now, apparently realizing how stupid his overreaction was, he is seeking amends by actually doubling down on the same misrepresentations. But the public, especially in America, is wising up to his game. Yes, there some are some BDS supporters who support the destruction of Israel, but they do not represent the many , many others who simply seek an end to the occupation and the apartheid regime in the Wast Bank and the imprisonment of the residents of Gaza, just as I am sure that there are idiot supporters of Israel who actually support illegal land theft and forced transfer of all Palestinians. I have seen the apartheid regime in the West Bank, and it is an ugly blot on the soul of Israel. For those of us who support the right of existence of a democratic Israel in peace and cooperation with its neighbors, the end of the apartheid policies is essential and BDS seems the best option at this time. People like Dershowitz who rant and misrepresent every action which is not totally supportive of the self-defeating right wing policies of the current Israeli government, are not doing Israel any favors.
