Israel's Foreign Ministry ordered to 'reassess' EU involvement with Palestinians after decision to label West Bank goods; 'decision is almost completely devoid of any real significance,' official says.23:15 29.11.15 | 10 comments
who seems not to understand is very troublesome for a country. The Palestinians understand the difference between a legitimate discussion and decisions that have practical significance. The decisions involve Israel getting out of occupied lands and returning to 1967 borders. Given the actions of Israel it should by rights, international law, UN agreements return to 1948 borders and arrange compensation to be given to Palestine. Israel should remember its legitimacy arose from the same UN organisation which it seems to want to dismiss now. The Palestinians understand all too painfully that negotiations US/Israel style mean allowing Israel to grap more land - read, more facts on the ground. ( refer back to "decisions that have practical significance") Israel and US will not allow an independent, able to defend itself, large enough to be a country entity.
