Anyone who thinks deportation isn't violence is unable to think about others in any meaningful way. Most people involved in immigrant rights or immigration recognize that deportation is akin to the death penalty, in that you're removing people from family, friends, their investments, and life. It's basically condemning people to a new exile, in a new place, with a new life. That is a horrible solution. Btw, we don't need aspiring politicians touring our neighborhood (I live in Neve Sha'anan), we need classes in this country on democracy and inclusion.
