So, where were we? Oh yeah, condemning boycotts of Israel. Ooohhhhh, we're just protecting ourselves from dangerous persons. (?) Does Mr. Chomsky actually pose a threat to the defense of Israel? Or, do his ideas, as well expressed as any Dershowitz or better, pose a threat to our free thinking? So, we're boycotting Chomsky by stopping him where we can control his thoughts; at our border. We won't let his ideas and words to enter the country on his person. The land he wants to enter has never been annexed to be a de jure part of our country. Will that really stop his ideas from getting in? So, shall we assume that we've served the betterment of the State of Israel? I don't think so. I feel we've added another blemish and made another mistake, similar to not letting Goldstone in to investigate claims from our side and interview our suffering. Wrong! But wait—is Chomsky less Jewish than Dershowitz, or only less appreciated by the powers that be? Hmmm, are we politicizing who is a Jew? Until now, it's only been the property of the religious establishment. Now, it's the property of governments that change. And we're the only democracy in the region? Let's reclaim our democracy! Let him in! And apologise!
