Democracy, contrary to what Nissim said, does not simply mean 'majority rule', it includes the principles of all citizens being equal in the eyes of the law. Not a law skewed to favour some... even be they a minority... and a law that jumps around to make illegal actions retroactively legal. Israel's definition of a democracy is severely flawed. It does not matter how hard one shouts: we have a democracy. That is not what makes a democracy.
