Tzipi Livni wrote an article the other day saying that the international community should adopt a code for democracies that should be applied to the newly forming Arab democracies to decide whether or not to recognize them. She says that they must believe in democracy in word and deed, respect the rights and views of others, respect free speech and acheiving poltical aims through nonviolent means. So if we were to actually take Tzipi Livni's hypocritical idea and apply it to all nations, I do believe that Israel herself will become subject to even more delegitimization. Just look at what this "Nakba Law" means, it restricts free speech and does not respect the views of others. It should be noted that a country that needs to create legislation to protect its symbols has already lost the battle, independence day shouldn't need to be protected through legislation. And to discredit the memories of others have defaced the one thing they should be trying to protect, Democracy. Lets see if this comment is posted, lets see just how much of a democracy Israel really is.
