Of course Israel needs to speak with Hamas. The EU also needs to honor democracy by contacting Hamas as well as Israel. This does not mean condoning violence against civilians on either side. Human rights are for everyone, not just Israeli Zionists. Yes we remember the bus bombings, and the Zionist massacre at Abraham Mosque in Hebron. All sides need to be heard and acknowledged. the Holy Land is for Jews, Muslims, and Christians alike and equally. Until Democracy is formed there with respect to all peoples and faiths Peace will never come.
