Eldar, like most far left pundits, have failed totally in the domestic marketplace of ideas to convince the Israeli polity to accep ttheir radical post Zionist ideas. So as the great Democrats that they are, they look to get foreign governments (EU and others) or foreign pressure (Boycotts etc.) to force Israel to their radical ideas against the will of the Israeli electorate. Yep a breathtaking exercise in representative democracy. These leftists do not understand the difference between their self apppointed elitist Truth and the wisdom of the common man of Thomas Jefferson embedded in the modern idea of participatory democracy. So long as the elected officials agree to play by the democratic rules and respect personal liberty (btw in particular to protect your property rights which was the core of the US revolution and the Israeli left totally deny) they get to make policy until the next election.
