"There is no way to wage combat in Gaza without harming the civilian population, and it is obvious that the IDF did much to avoid this." Shahar Ilan is delusional. It is clear to me the destruction of food supply factories, waste-water treatment systems, water wells, farm land, concrete factories and residential houses was the result of a deliberate and systematic policy by the Israeli military. It was not carried out because those objects presented a military threat but to make daily living more difficult for the people of Gaza. If anyone has any doubt about the level of destruction check out: http://www.israeli-war-crimes.org/ "All of us will bear responsibility for it, and all of us will pay the price during the next war." Already planning for the next war I see. How pathetic can a country be.
