To Avraham: History does not support your views. I reaize that is irrelevant to your dogmatism, but that is the case. Over 400 Arab villages were destroyed by Zionist agression. Further, Avraham, isn't it one of the core principals of Zionism that the Jews of the Diaspora were longing to return to Zion for millenia? If they had to be driven out by Arabs it would seem their love of Zion was not very strong. The settlers who wish to remain as individuals with equal rights should petition the Palestinians but they have no right to live there as a national entity lording it over another population to whom the land belongs. Zionism is dying. It is going the way of every other 19th century ism. What is left is an eventual evolution into a binational state or a ethnocracy based on religous law for Jews only. There are no other options. You will simply have to deal with that reality.
