Earlier, mortar shells were fired into Israeli territory in apparent spillover from Syria war.12:12 13.10.15 | 4 comments
I don't have an issue with Israel blocking access to weapons, the problem is that Israel still (to this day) blocks any import that can be used in a dual use (defensive or offensive) manner, so rule out iron, concrete, and steel. Plus, it heavily restricts the export of anything, so rule out having a functioning economy. Up until a year ago, Israel did not allow items in like: Soda, juice, jam, spices, shaving cream, potato chips, cookies and candy. Seriously. Medical good are in short supply - and really subversive things like Books, Magazines, Paper, and *gasp* chocolate are still barred at the border. I'm sorry, I agree with Jon Stewart when I say, "If you can't even look at Gaza, and agree that there is suffering there that needs to be alleviated, no matter who's to blame for it, then your heart is so dead, tourists flock there to float on their backs in it"
