Hamas may have told Israel it isn’t looking for another war in Gaza, but it’s clearly desperate to advance its attack tunnels. It’s also delighted to be sowing seeds of discontent and concern among the Israeli public.04:19 13.02.16 | 0 comments
On the top level Intelligence is the ability to learn or understand or to deal with new or trying situations. The ability to reason. The skilled use of reason. The the ability to apply knowledge to manipulate one's environment or to think abstractly as measured by objective criteria. At a different, the national, level it is the ability to acquire information concerning an enemy or possible enemies, or an area or an agency engaged in obtaining such information. What Intelligence is not is the perversion of agencies intended to gather 'intelligence' for political purposes, or the use of such agencies to carry out political goals. Mossad has totally lost all ability in the ability to gather intelligence, analyze the data and produce results which will be of use to a government which is only interested in the ability of the Mossad to produce information politically useful and which justifies government and defense policies. Mossad has become not only inept, but corrupt. it embarrasses Israel and prevents the government from receiving the intelligence production it needs instead of that which it desires. This ultimately is not the fault of Mossad. It is the fault of a government which stopped wanting to be told of reality and wanted only to be told what it wanted to hear.
