First comprehensive study in Hebrew into Islamic State says Sunni group could wield more influence over Israeli Arabs and Palestinians if it takes land closer to Israel’s borders.11:08 28.11.15 | 1 comments
I predict it won't happen. Several years ago, Arafat (may his memory be forgotten) blustered that if there were no "Palestinian" state by such and such date (I forget exactly when that was), he would unilaterally declare one. He didn't. I believe it won't happen this time either, and for the same reason: The "Palestinians" don't want what they are telling the world they want. They know that if they officially accept a state with such and such borders, they will lose the right to clamor for anything else, in the eyes of the world. They will be expected to act like a civilized nation, and therefore they will not be able to go to war against Israel in order to try to wrest more territory from her, without losing legitimacy and world sympathy.
