There are very sound reasons why the IDF does nothing to prevent Settler depredations against Palestinians. The main one is that the Israeli units which bear the responsibility are in fact nothing but co-conspirators with the Settlers who wish do do nothing. When the IDF apprehended the men responsible for burning a Mosque recently, they sent them home and cannot find them again. What is 'decency'? Decency is the state or quality of being decent. It is conformity to standards of taste, propriety, or quality. To be one who is decent, one must adhere to standards of propriety. Israel has chosen to allow people with no standards of decency to be policed by people who have no standards of decency. Thus, the annual - and predictable - Olive Harvest Crimes prove that Israel is a nation which has sacrificed it's standards of decency and propriety in favor of the most depraved desires of it's most criminal elements. No armed force which allows the powerful to commit crimes against the weak may claim 'morality.' No nation which allows crimes against anyone who it demands to have authority over, may claim to be moral.
