Someone stated that this find reinforces the claims of the Palestinians to the land as if it is somehow evidence they had a church there even though Romans, nor Greeks, nor Jews are Palestinians. I find that amusing since the dedication in mosaic states the building is dedicated to a JEW who lived in Israel among other Jews a few hundred years or less before the church was built. This is a great find for Israel and I believe Israel should greatly increase efforts to find everything possible in the way of archeology. Not only would it provide for increased tourism but would also help to establish the true history of ancient Israel which is not only fascinating but informative. Step it up you guys!
