Since the February hudna-light, Hamas has not attacked unless it was first provoked by Israeli incurstions. Hamas has not conducted true terrorism in that time. The issues of Qassams being true terroism is in debate and remains a grey thing because they are generally non-lethal. What is needed is a counter to the good that was Disengagement in order to keep the eyes of the world in witness of that which can only be seen in the light of true calm. Mr. Mesha'al know this and the things that still must be done. Ha'aretz does provide forums, like this in which the debate can progress, sometimes even in a civil manor. IMHO, the next step, the next knott, is a renouncement of true terrorism. Let us move the debate forward and not stifel the potential progress.
