Yael Patir, Israel director of the left-leaning U.S. Jewish body, sat down with Haaretz to talk about Trump, the gap between U.S. and Israeli Jews, and the growing anger at the Israeli peace camp. Though she concedes boycott efforts by some on the left have a negative effect, she rejects calls to keep peace efforts local.01:12 01.05.16 | 4 comments
Had the Arabs chosen to live in peace with Israel in 1948, or chosen to live in peace with us since then instead of living like mindless animals bent upon killing as many innocent Israelis as possible they would have saved the lives of many thousands of their children and ours. When the Arabs give up terrorism the killing will immediately stop on both sides. Israel does not provoke the suicide bombings, qassams, and other senseless attacks to which it then must respond -- they arise from the hate-filled heads of Arab morons who teach their children to kill and die for Allah rather than live in peace. The author of this article needs to get in touch with reality . . . perhaps he should go back on his meds.
