...nuances to your remark. I agree: It is fair to say that Tzahal has different modi operandi, depending on what is going on in the West Bank. But your comment implies that Tzahal turns a blind eye to all the crimes committed by israelis, but always acts with swift and severe brutality against the palestinians. I would say that this is a somewhat distorted picture. I agree that more can be done in order to control and fight the crimes by some of the more radical and aggressive settlers, but believe me - if the Yesha-Council would decide to go for an all out "war" with heavy guns against the palestinians, then Tzahal would stop it - with harsh measures. I can understand if things looks strange and crazy, but make no mistake about it - everybody in Israel knows who is in charge - that there is one government and one policeforce and so on. Shalom.
